Who Am I?

The Basics:

Age: 24

College: Bowie State University

Date of Graduation: December 20, 2008

Degree: Bachelor of Science in Communications

Concentration: Print Journalism

The Inside:

The truth is, writing is my life. It may be the one thing I'm actually good at. It took me two years of failure at a Big Ten University to realize where my heart was actually at, which is the reason I chose to concentrate in Print Journalism. I have two major career goals in life:

1. Become a foreign correspondent.

2. Own a magazine that focuses on community issues and social injustice.

Other than writing, I love teaching and I love to learn. If it was possible, I would spend my life learning everything there is to know about anything. The classroom was where I found my passion for activism and decided to tie it in with journalism. My talent for writing decided to mingle with my passion to speak up against social injustice is what gave birth to this blog. So hold on tight because the ride may get bumpy at times.

What you REALLY need to know?

I am highly opinionated and I have no problem saying what I feel. Sometimes I may come across as rude and insensitive, therefore, if you are easily offended this blog may not be for you. I NEVER apologize for saying what I feel, however, I do take other people's thoughts and feelings into consideration. If at any point you feel the need to contact me, I am all ears. Try not to take anything said in this blog to heart and enjoy!
